The Smith & Wesson Victory Model is a variant of the Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver, chambered in .38 Special. It was produced during World War II for use by Allied forces, primarily the United States and Britain.

The Victory Model was essentially a wartime production version of the Model 10, featuring some simplifications in its manufacturing process to speed up production. It was produced in large numbers between 1942 and 1945 to meet the high demand for sidearms during the war.

These revolvers were used by various branches of the military, as well as by police forces and civilian shooters. They earned the name “Victory Model” because they were often given as gifts to returning servicemen at the end of the war.

The Smith & Wesson Victory Model is highly regarded for its durability, reliability, and ease of use. Many examples can still be found in good working condition today, and they are prized by collectors and enthusiasts alike.
