Known as “The Perfect Repeater,†stands as one of the most iconic shotguns in American history. Introduced in 1912 and designed by T.C. Johnson, the Model 12 was heavily influenced by the innovations of John Moses Browning, whose earlier Winchester Model 1897 laid the foundation for modern pump-action shotguns. Building on Browning’s legacy, the Model 12 featured a stronger, enclosed receiver and refined internal mechanisms, making it one of the smoothest and most reliable pump-action shotguns of its time. With a production run exceeding two million, the Model 12 earned its place in the hands of sportsmen, law enforcement, and even the military during World War II.
